J-bay is the place where warm currents of Indian Ocean meet cold ones of Atlantic creating unique and perfect surf conditions! In this area there are some small natural reserves like Kabeljous estuary with its natural reserve accessible only by a safe beach where people can swim staying in contact with birds, fishes and many kind of animals.
Between april and september the low pressures generate swells that turning around Cape St. Francis get inside Jeffrey's Bay creating the best righthander break in the world. In facts during july here is hosted the Billabong Surfing Festival and surfers from all parts of the world come here to make their show!
