The village of Pipa, in the district of Tibau do Sol, is a natural shelter for dolphins and turtles. The name in native lingo means "between the two waters", in fact the village lies between the Guarairas Laguna and the Atlantic Ocean.
A land of white beaches, crystal warm water, surrounded by coconut three plantations, natural pools, sand hills, cave and cliffs, right in the heart of one of the biggest natural reserve of the Rio Grande do Norte state, Pipa has became famous in the 80's and the surfers have discovered its pleasures!
The area offers great surfing conditions and many breaks perfect either for beginners or intermediates. Besides surfing many activities are available in Pipa: canoeing, horse riding, motocross or dune buggy excursioning. The night life is an attraction itself, cosmopolitan and exciting, with numerous pubs, american bars and discos. A perfect destination for those lokking for extreme fun!
