All the spots are coral breaks. Some of these are dangerous so an intermediate\advanced level is required. There are some easy waves that break inside the lagoon good for beginners and kids.
Ha'atafu Beach Resort is also the headquarter of Tonga's surfers association so you'll can surf with some locals.
