This Surf Camp package with surf school and accommodation in Popoyo, Nicaragua, is aimed at all levels of surfing, from beginner to advanced and allows you to live one or two weeks of real surf spirit and get to know new people coming from allo ver the World.

Located in Central America, bordering south with Costa Rica and North with Honduras (though a few miles from El Salvador), thanks to its geographical position an morphology is a true surf paradise, its features are: Off-shore winds; Uncrowd spots and Perfect beach breaks.
In fact, thanks to the large lakes stretching along the slopes of the many volcanoes, such as the Cocibolca Lake ( which almost connects the Caribbean / Atlantic coast to the Pacific), facilitating the passage of winds coming from the Atlantic and arriving as offshore breeze to the Pacific coast, making the waves super glassy all the time (300 days of offshore wind per year)!!!
Nicaragua is historically the richest country in Central America, in terms of fauna biodiversity and wealth of raw materials and minerals (from coffee, to meat, to tobacco and to sugar cane - famous worldwide for the rum "Flor de Caña").
To visit: Granada, a colonial town with many cathedrals and posadas / colorful hotels and bars. From here you can visit the Nicaragua lake and the Mombacho volcano overlooking the Nicaragua lake.

∧ How to get there:
Nicaragua is easily accessible with international flights landing at Managua International Airport (MGA). The surf camp is located about 2,5 hours by car from the airport.

Surfcamp airport shuttle: Included in the package price you will have airport / camp return transfer, with our private driver.
∧ Health Care and Visa:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Nicaragua (90 days on arrival). It is recommended to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital facilities have good standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance.
