This Arica camp is born with the will to teach the Surf Culture to the local kids and to those who come to discover the potential of this land that offers high quality waves and a rich and mix culture! This spot was chosen in July 2007 as the WCT Rip Curl's international surf contest for its powerful and perfect waves.

∧ How to get there :
Arica is located in the northern province of Chile, only 18 km from the border with Peru. The airports to reach our camp are: Arica Airport in Chile or Tacna Airport in Peru. Both are accessible by domestic flights after being landed at international airports such as Santiago de Chile (SCL) or Lima (LIM), Peru, easily reachable from several cities around the world.

Surfcamp airport shuttle: Included in the package price you will have airport / camp return transfer, with our private driver, from ARICA or from TACNA airport. Rental Car: We recommend renting a car to drive around in Chile. Public Transports: Getting around by public transport in Chile is easy, there are buses connecting Santiago de Chile to Arica.
∧ Health Care and Documents:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Chile (90 days on arrival). It is recommended to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital facilities have good standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance.
