This is a package dedicated to all those who are expert and independent surfers who, for their trip to the south of Portugal, require a B&B pack in a full surfing style accommodation, like the one you can find at our Algarve Surf Camp!

Due to its location, the southwest coast of Portugal is exposed to Atlantic swells coming from North to South, this area receives the right surf conditions throughout the year. You will find tailor-made waves for you, and at the Algarve Surf Camp we will do everything to make you always find the right spot at the right time!

The overnight staying at one of our surf houses, in Lagos or in Sagres, will give you the chance to experience the Portuguese surfing vibs, having the chance to meet new friends and watch the latest surf videos! Our staff is always at your disposal for any need.
If you do not want to rent a car, we also offer the possibility of adding transfers to the surf spots either from the surfhouse of Lagos and from the surfhouse of Sagres.

∧ How to get there:

The Algarve region is easily reachable by standard flight and low cost flights, such as Ryanair and Easyjet, which fly to Faro international airport (FAO), at 1 hour driving from the camp; or to Lisbon international airport (LIS), at 3 hours driving from the camp; or to Seville international airport (SVQ), in Spain, at 3 hours driving from the camp.

From Faro Airport to Camp:

To get to us from Faro airport, you can take a taxi for a short ride from the airport to the train or bus station, and from there take a public transport to Lagos, where we will pick you up for free at the station. If you have a car and you have chosen Lagos surfhouse, take the A22 to Lagos until Lagos exit 1. If you have chosen Sagres surfhouse, take the A22 to Lagos and continue on the N125 until you reach Sagres.

From Lisbon Airport to Camp:

To get to us from Lisbon airport, you can take a taxi from the airport to the Sete Rios bus station and take a bus to Lagos, where we will pick you up for free at the station. If you have a car and you have chosen Lagos surfhouse, take the A2 South for the Algarve and then the A22 to Lagos until Lagos exit 1. If you have chosen Sagres surfhouse, take exit 1 of the A22 to Lagos and continue on the N125 until Sagres.

From Seville Airport to Camp:

To get to us from Seville airport, take this bus to Lagos, where we will pick you up for free at the station.

∧ Health Care and Visa:

Portugal is part of the European Union. An European identity document is sufficient to travel in and out the country. Healthcare is free for the European health card holder. Most nationalities out of European Union do NOT need a special visa to go to Portugal. It is recommended to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital structures have high standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance if you are NON European citizen.
