This Surf Camp Package in Buggerru, on the west coast of Sardinia, is perfect for those looking for a completely surf holiday, immersed in unspoiled Sardinian nature. We offer a qualified surfing school, with 6 days of lesson per week and courses for beginner and intermediate/advanced levels. We also have the option of choosing your accommodation between Surfhouse or Private Apartment.
Buggerru is a former mining village in the province of Carbonia Iglesias, immersed in the wildest coast of Sardinia, high and steep, south opens onto Cala Domestica Bay, one of the most beautiful in Sardinia, well protected by a rocky fjord watched by a Spanish tower.
Every year there are also various country festivals such as the "sea urchins festival" (typical and highly gourmet product of the area) that recall people from all over the island or play theatrical performances such as the "Via Crucis" taking place on the streets of the village in the interest of the spectators who revive the history interpreted by local people. In the summer season there are "small parties" in the kiosks in the village or in the beaches of San Nicolo and in the nearby beach of Mezzo where you can spend the evening dancing or taking an aperitif while watching the sunset sitting by the sea. The village is also very suitable for families with children, because it is possible (thanks to the low traffic of vehicles) to leave kids and children in total freedom.
Buggerru Beach is also a great beach break for all surf levels, and being on the West Coast enjoys all the swells from NO, West and SW, with always a surf spot repaired from the wind. With South East swell, the camp moves to the south coast!

∧ How to get there :
Buggerru in Sardinia is easily reachable from several European cities with low cost and standard flights. You can land in Cagliari (CAG) or Alghero airport (AHO), at 1.5 h from the camp by car. If you prefer, you can take the ferry to Cagliari or Olbia, from Genoa, Livorno or Rome.

Rent-a-car: We recommend renting a car to reach our surfcamp in Buggerru. Direct Transfer: If you prefer, we can come and pick you up at Cagliari or Alghero airport, or at the port of Olbia or Cagliari, with an additional charge. Public transports: If you prefer to travel by public transport, from Cagliari, Alghero or Olbia there are buses that arrive to Buggerru. The trip can be long and you need to change couple of buses.

∧ Health Care and Visa:
Italy is part of the European Union. An European identity document is sufficient to travel in and out the country. Healthcare is free for the European health card holder. Most nationalities out of European Union do NOT need a special visa to go to Italy (90 days on arrival), we always recommend to check the validity of your passport before traveling (at least 6 months validity from the scheduled return date) and to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. Public and private hospital facilities have high standard level, however, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance if you are NON European citizen.
