This surf school package can be combined with one of our accommodations in Mirissa, in the southwest of Sri Lanka. Our surfcamp staff works with a mantra in mind, which is "You are not a visitor, but you are our personal guest."
Our beginners and intermediate courses are held in Weligama, Matara and secret spots where beginners can easily learn in the crystal clear waves. Our instructors are very patient during the learning process and mistakes are corrected appropriately, using different approaches to make sure that all steps are completed one by one before going to the next. Video analysis is part of our agenda to help you to see your mistakes and fix it for the next time.
The camp experience is not only limited to surfing, but we also include a visit to the tea factory, to the underground temple, and to the batik factory. On request we organize services such as yoga, safari, whale watching, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We can also arrange a river trip by stand up, to approach Sri Lanka's flora and fauna.

Surfcamp airport shuttle: Upon request, we can offer airport/camp return transfer with private driver. The service has an extra charge. Taxy: Reach the camp by taxy is easy. Public transport: You can take couple of buses or the famous coal train that pass by the coast, which will take you almost to the camp.
∧ Health Care and Documents:
Most nationalities need a Visa to travel to Sri Lanka, which if free of charge. You can find all the relevant information here: Visa Sri Lanka. We always recommend to check the validity of your passport before traveling (at least 6 months validity from the scheduled return date) and to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. There are good hospital facilities, but we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance.
