The resort is made up of several comfortable bungalows that can be private or shared, all with air conditioning and ceiling fans, a private western-style bathroom and a terrace overlooking the Lance's Left wave, literally 1 minute paddling from our private pier. Thanks to the combination of traditional Mentawaian design with Western attention for endurance and comfort, the result is an exotic and luxurious resort. The Central Restaurant is the place to socialize with the rest of the guests, watch a surf movie, drink a cool beer or rest on the hammocks with waves view!
Kingfisher Bay Resort also offers you wireless internet access for 10USD per day, meaning that you can stay in touch with your family or friends, read your webmail or just surf the internet.
In addition, the resort offers a range of activities such as snorkeling, walks among the local mentawai villages and sport fishing with our speedboat. Our boats will take you twice a day to the most famous waves of the Mentawai. Some of these are just few minutes from the resort.
SHARED BUNGALOWS
Shared bungalows can accommodate up to 5 people, giving the chance for surfers traveling alone to share their experience in Mentawais. The sleeping area has AC and ceiling fans, a western style bathroom with hot shower and an extra large terrace with lots of space to relax in front of the hypnotic view of Lance's Left.
PRIVATE BUNGALOWS
Private bungalows can accommodate up to 3 people, perfect for couples, groups of friends or families. Overlooking the majestic Lance's Left wave, just 20 meters from the seashore.
The sleeping area is clean and spacious with AC and ceiling fans, with a large western-style private bathroom with hot water and a sea front front terrace with hammocks to relax while admiring the views and sounds of this magnificent coastline.
RESTAURANT AREA
Our restaurant is the heart of the resort, from our large veranda you can enjoy panoramic views of Lance's Left and adjacent bay. The design of the outdoor terrace is perfect to capture the slightest breeze, and why not, spot a flying lizards or an endemic squirrels of the Mentawai Islands. A variety of beers and juices can be ordered at the bar. DVD, internet connection and surf magazines available in our chill out area.
