SURFING IN PIPA

Pipa in Brazil has many surf spots for all levels of surfers, from beginner to professional, with different types of waves and all styles, from long to short board, surrounded bt a tropical scenario. On the waves of "praia do Amor", just a few steps from the center, is held the local shortboard championship at the end of November and in mid-December the long and shortboard competition by Mormaii.

The quality of the spots and the frequency of the waves make Pipa a perfect destination for surfing all year round, and here you can often surf with dolphins!

SPOTS PIPA AREA

Praia do Amor It is Pipa's central spot, suitable for all levels. Peaks all over the beach, very fun, on sand bottom with some rock.

Lajão The longest wave of Pipa, it can reach 500 meters. Various tube sections and vertical walls for maneuvering. Reef bottom, spot suitable for intermediate and advanced.

Madeiro Quite long right and left waves in this spot accessible to everyone. Reef mixed with sand. Great chance to surf with dolphins at this spot!

Cacimbinhas Very consistent spot, works all year round. Right and left waves for all levels, on sand bottom.

Abacateiro Right on a reef, very good quality on days with off shore wind or no wind. Long wave with barrels sections and vertical walls, on reef bottom. Recommended for intermediate and advanced.
