SURFING IN TENERIFE

The surf on the island of Tenerife varies from spot to spot and is of great quality. There are perfect waves spots for those who want to learn and spots with well-known international quality waves, where the WQS (World Qualifing Series) organizes some surfing competitions. Waves like Spanish Left, El Conquistador, El Dedo and La Derecha are everyone dream, beginners and pros!!!! The water temperature is mild in winter (maximum 3.2mm wetsuit required) and in the summer you can surf in boardshort or with a short wetsuit.

TENERIFE SPOTS

El Socorro Beautiful black sand beach, with waves all year round. Various peaks suitable for all levels of surf.

Las Galletas Spot facing south, generally soft, with easy walls for beginners and intermediate but also for experts, with optimal conditions.

Spanish Left A paradise for left hander lovers, one of the most beautiful waves in Tenerife! The spot is located in Las Americas, one of the most tourist area in Tenerife. Wave on reef, suitable for expert surfers.

Punta Blanca A-frame wave on reef of top quality, with very powerful and steep waves, more enjoyable at low and medium tide. Suitable for intermediate and expert.

La Fitenia Spot located in Playa de las Américas, flat reef with powerful right waves and easier and less powerful left waves. A very consistent spot, suitable for all levels.
