SURFING IN COSTA RICA

Some spots are very easy to reach, while others are only accessible by boat. In the summer the largest swells come from the south, in the winter, dry season, the swells are coming from the North Pacific, usually with smaller waves and offshore winds, but always of great quality and here you can surf all year round in boardshort!
The best months to surf in Costa Rica go from May to September for the size of the waves and from December to April for the weather conditions.
