Ecuador Montañita Surf

Our surf resort is located on Montañita beach, with good surf conditions all year round and for all levels. Thanks to the shape of this beach, here can we find excellent conditions to improve your surf, whatever is your surf level. It is only 10-15 minutes from all the spots in the area.

Undoubtedly a great spot for those who have to start, however, Montañita has the best right of all of Ecuador, and for the more expert, the swell can generate waves up to 3m in height.

Swells

From December to August we have the biggest swells, but the cleanest wave conditions are found between December and May.

Temperature 

Tropical climate, with minimum 23 ° C and maximum 33 ° C with a water temperature of 28 ° C. SURFING WITHOUT WETSUIT ALL YEAR ROUND!
