Located in a remote and truly magical tropical island location, Fish Fingers wave is the PERFECT beginner wave! Warm clear water and a gentle sand-bottom wave peeling perfectly to the beach. With nearly no one around, especially on this little gem of a wave, anyone can learn to surf and get good fast doing it!

Warm water and sandy bottom, a soft and always open wall of the wave will make learning very easy. Do not neglect the fact that this wave is always deserted (apart from the resort's customers) so you will learn to surf without crowd.

FISH FINGER SURF SPOT

Fish Fingers is located right across the channel from the resort with a soft sandy bottom. It is a perfect small peak that peels mostly right but a little left too. At Fish Fingers you can learn to surf or teach the kids with a selection of soft-top learner surf boards available for use free of charge!

Who is Considered a Beginner Surfer?

Beginner surfers are considered beginner surfers! If you know how to surf or plan to bring your own equipment, you must book as a surfing guest. Beginner surfers are permitted to surf at Fish Fingers wave only, using the soft-top learning boards only. Beginners are not permitted to surf any other waves unless partaking in an intermediate lesson with hired surf board. The opportunity to advance to a more challenging wave is at the discretion of our surf instructors, for your safety.

What Waves can a Beginner Surfer Surf?

Beginners are permitted to surf at Fish Fingers only initially. Beginners may take Intermediate & Advanced Surf Lessons to try other waves at the discretion of our surf instructors. If a beginner wishes to surf at Mini Macas or Silabu Left, they may pay for an intermediate surf lesson and must also pay for a surf board rental if the instructor agrees the surfer is ready.
