SURFING IN PASTA POINT

Pasta Point is the most famous wave in North Male atoll, here was born the surfing history of Maldives since 1991. Thanks to his position, Pasta Point is a very consistent and high quality wave. The proximity to the other 3 high-quality waves such as Sultans, Honky's and Jails makes surfing in this area with plenty of options, right and left at less than 5 minutes of dingy ride.

SPOT MALE NORTH AREA

Pasta Point High quality left, rolls into the channel adjacent to the island of Pasta Point Resort. Wave on reef, up to 2 / 3ft is accessible to all intermediate-advanced levels. In the peak season (June-Sept) swells can reach 4-8 ft and then the spot is only for advanced surfer.

Cockes Famous right to be vertical and fast, though when on 2/3 feet is accessible for everyone, above this size becomes expert!

Chicken Left with 2 main sections, with good condition tends to make barrels. The second section who breaks into the channel is accessible to everyone.

Jails Long right with 4 distinct sections that in good swell condition and optimal wind join to form a single infinite wave. Accessible for intermediate and advanced.

Sultans Right renowned for being all-round, from intermediate to advanced, but on 5 ft has 2 tubing sections worth noting.

Honkys Left that breaks on the opposite side of Sultan, fun, with a very easy takeoff and an inside section that doubled over the starting size. With good condition it is a long and very fun wave.
