Welcome to Blue Bowls Villa. We are located on Vaadhoo Island in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll and we have 6 double rooms, with the possibility of inserting a third extra bed. A 50-minute panoramic flight from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, in Male, will take you to Gaafu Dhaalu Kaadhedhdhoo Airport and from Kaadhedhdhoo a 45-minute speed boat will take you to the beautiful island of Vaadhoo. This island is home to the famous Blue Bowls wave, a few steps from our villa. Vaadhoo Island also offers easy access to all other surf spots in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, including Beacons, Castaways, Five Islands, Two Ways, Love Charms, Antiques and Tiger Stripes!
Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and thanks to a common agreement with the resort near us, you can access and enjoy their bar, spa and diving center. We also organize night-fishing excursions, snorkeling and Island Hopping (boat tour inhabited and not inhabited islands)...

∧ How to get there:
To reach the Maldives South Atolls, you first need to fly to Male international airport (MLE), normally accessible via Saudi Arabia or Sri Lanka. From Male Airport, take then a domestic flight of about 60 minutes to Kaadedhdhoo Airport (KDM) at Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll (we book the flight ticket for you, included in the price of the package).

Private Speed Boat Transfer: Included in the package, we offer Airport / Villa Return Transfer, with private speed boat (around 45 minutes wach way).
∧ Health Care and Documents:
Most nationalities do NOT need a special visa to go to Maldives (30 days on arrival). We always reccommend to check the validity of your passport before travelling (at least 6 months validity from the scheduled return date) and to take various copies of your passport with you, if the original gets lost. There are not good hospital facilities in the South of maldives, only small medical centers, we recommend traveling with an international travel insurance, in the emergency case of helicopter transfer to a bigger hospital. No specific vaccine is required.
∧ Currency:
The local currency is MALDIVIAN RUPIA: 1 MVR = 0,056 € Usually also Euro and Dollars are accepted in resorts and boats.
