FUERTEVENTURA PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

Canary Islands, Fuerteventura

SURF COURSE AND PHOTO

Every day you will take the surf course depending on your level (See Pack Surf Camp: 10am to 3pm, Beginner, Intermediate). So in the afternoon about 3/4 hours before the sunset (depending on the season) we will pick you up with our van for photographic outputs that will cover the main themes of digital photography directly on the field.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

At the end of the surfing lesson (after having lunch and relaxed) we will come pick you up to visit the most scenic locations of the island every day. During field lessons you will be followed by two professional photographers who will give you tips and suggestions on how to get the most out of your photos.

Depending on the light conditions and weather, we will take you to the sunset from the west coast, the moonish volcanic landscapes of the interior, the red mountains sinking roots into crystalline water lagoons and other landscapes that make Fuerteventura a unique place in the world. (Fuerteventura was declared a Biosphere reserve by Unesco in 2009).

There will also be times when we will sit at a table to talk about post production and image processing.

During the photographic outings, we will take the participants to some places we think will be very spectacular to be photographed so as to bring them home some photos that would otherwise have been dreamed of.

The course of photography is directed to both photographers without the least experience and to experienced photographers who want to be guided to the most interesting locations on the island.

During the exits, the following topics will be addressed:

  • The principles of light,
  • Diaphragm / shutter speed ratio,
  • The depth of field;
  • The lenses and the camera;
  • The rules of a good composition of the image;
  • Shooting techniques (landscape, travel, sports and portraiture);
  • Post production of the image.
