The village of Pipa, in Tibau do Sul, is famous as a sanctuary for dolphins and sea turtles. Surrounded by the Guaraíras Lagoon on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, it offers pristine white-sand beaches, warm turquoise waters, coconut groves, sand dunes, caves, and natural pools.

Surf put Pipa on the map in the 1980s, and today it remains the heart of the community. You’ll find waves for all levels and plenty of activities beyond surfing: kayaking, buggy tours, horseback riding, motocross through the Atlantic forest, plus a vibrant nightlife with live forró music, bars, and clubs.
