Just 35 km northwest of Lisbon, Ericeira is an authentic fishing village with a young and vibrant soul dedicated to surfing. Recognized as a World Surfing Reserve in Europe, it is home to some of the best spots on the continent. Along 10 km of coastline, you’ll find a wide variety of waves and beaches suitable for all levels.

Our Surfcamp is located just steps from the ocean, overlooking Foz do Lizandro beach and only a 30-minute walk from the historic center of Ericeira.

Located in a traditional two-story Portuguese villa, the camp is designed to meet all your needs before and after surf sessions. You can relax in the cozy rooftop terrace, challenge your friends to foosball or table tennis, or enjoy our yoga sessions or a SUP paddle down the river.

You can reach the center of Ericeira in less than 15 minutes with our rental bikes or skateboards. Here you can enjoy fantastic local cuisine and experience the city’s vibrant nightlife.

On weekdays, we offer included in the package, dinners prepared by our chef, famous for his culinary creations that delight meat lovers and vegetarians alike.

The beach, Foz do Lizandro, is the perfect place for beginners: soft waves and sandy bottom make this spot ideal for learning to surf. All the beach breaks we frequent are within a 10 km radius of the camp.

For more experienced surfers, the area around the village of Ericeira is a true paradise, with a number of world-class spots featuring perfect reefs, both right and lefts, and tubing waves, including Ribeira d’Ilhas, a regular stop on the ASP World Tour Surf Championship circuit.

We offer surf lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced sessions. Our certified and qualified instructors will help you achieve your goals, whether you are taking your first steps in surfing or want to perfect your technique at an advanced level.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Ericeira is easily accessible from several Italian cities such as Milan, Pisa, Rome, with low-cost flights. In ca 2 h flight you land in Lisbon (about 50 km from the camp by car), Portugal. Tap and Alitalia also fly on these routes.

From the airport :
Rent-a-car: We recommend renting a car to get to our surfcamp in Ericeira.
Direct Transfer: if you prefer, we can pick you up at the Lisbon airport, at an additional cost of about 50 euros, duration 40 minutes.
Public transports: if you prefer to move by public transportation, from Lisbon to Ericeira there is an extra-urban bus of the Mafrense line, which leaves from the Campo Grande bus station in Lisbon and arrives after more than an hour the trip at the bus station in Ericeira.
