Famara is a perfect spot for kitesurfing and has become popular over the past 10 years. Almost all on sandy bottom, it has spots where the water remains shallow for many meters, and wave areas accessible to all.
Getting There :
Lanzarote can be easily reached from several Italian cities such as Milan, Bergamo,Pisa, Rome with low-cost flights. In approx 4h flight you land in Arrecife, the airport of Lanzarote.

From the airport:
We recommend renting a car , as Famara is a beautiful bay surrounded by a natural park, but sper get around and visit the island you need to move by car. Also, the average rental cost is €150 per week. If you have not rented a car to get to the surfcamp, we recommend a Taxi that from the airport takes you to famara in 30 min. approx., price 70€ a/r .
Health Care and Documents:
Lanzarote despite being in the Atlantic Ocean is a Spanish island, therefore European. An Italian ID is sufficient. For health care, the European/Italian health card applies.
