Within minutes you can reach iconic spots such as Cabo da Roca-the westernmost point in Europe-and the historic center of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But that’s not all: For the more adventurous, the surroundings offer some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Portugal, as well as some of the best surfing spots in Europe. The nearest beaches are Praia Pequena and Praia das Maçãs, both just 3 km from the surf house.
