Six Senses, the only resort in the Laamu Atolls (central atolls), just 5 degrees above the equator line, will give you a unique sensory experience.
This resort is built and thought out in the most imperceptible details so that you can feel perfectly comfortable at all times.
Nestled in a lagoon sheltered by a living reef rich in wildlife, activities are many : snorkeling, Diving, surfing, kite surfing, fishing, yoga, sailing, canoeing, catamaran and spa.
You can choose between the Beach Villa, with lagoon or ocean views, each with a portion of private beach and direct access to the sea. The villas feature a glass bathtub with a panoramic view of the lagoon, an outdoor rain shower, and a tower with lounge, perfect for enjoying the sunset surrounded by a breathtaking view.
Alternatively, the Water Villas, available on both the lagoon and the ocean, offer a similar setting, with the addition of an outdoor terrace with a lounge suspended over the sea. Here you can relax while sipping a natural juice or cocktail, lounging on comfortable cushions suspended a few feet from the crystal-clear waters. The bathtub, also made of glass, is positioned directly over the sea, offering the feeling of complete relaxation as you soak in the paradisiacal Maldivian waters.
Also unique is the choice of building materials, made entirely from untreated materials, salvaged sea- and sun-bleached woods and glass and/or ceramics, nothing that impacts the local ecosystem. They have also preserved the island’s dense vegetation, which gives the feeling of living isolated in total privacy.
