Surfing and Photo Course
Each day you will take the surf course depending on your level see pack surf camp (10 am to 3 pm, beginner, improver, intermediate). In the afternoon about 3 to 4 hours before sunset (depending on the season) we will pick you up with our van for photo outings where the main topics of digital photography will be covered directly in the field.
The Photography course
At the end of the surf lesson (after having lunch and relaxing) we will pick you up to visit the most scenic locations on the island each day. During the field lessons you will be supervised by two professional photographers who will give you tips and advice on how to get the most out of your photographs.
Depending on the light and weather conditions we will take you to shoot the sunsets of the west coast, the lunar volcanic landscapes of the interior, red mountains that sink their roots into lagoons of crystal clear water, and other landscapes that make Fuerteventura a unique place in the world. (Fuerteventura was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, in 2009.)
There will also be times when we will sit down to talk about post production and image processing.
During the photo outings we will take participants to some locations that we think are very spectacular to photograph so that they can take home photos that they would have otherwise dreamed of.
The photo course is aimed at both photographers without the slightest experience and experienced photographers who want to be guided to the most interesting locations on the island.
The following topics will be addressed during the outings:
- the principles of light
- the aperture/shutter speed relationship
- the depth of field
- the lenses and the camera
- The rules of good image composition
- shooting techniques (landscape, travel, sports and portraits)
- image post production
