How to Get There:

Cabarete is easily accessible from several Italian cities such as Milan and Rome. In approx. 7 hours flight you can land at Puerto Plata International Airport (POP), about 30 minutes from the camp by car, or land at Santo Domingo – Las Americas internacional airport, about 4 hours from the camp by car.

From the airport:

Rental Car: We recommend renting a car directly from the airport.

Cab: Getting to surfcamp by taxy is very convenient, 30 minutes ciraca from Puerto Plata airport and about 4h from Santo Domingo airport.

Surfcamp Shuttle:

Included in the package is airport transfer from Puerto Plata or Sousa bus station. Possibility to request transfers from other airports at extra cost.

Health Care and Documents:

Italian citizens do not need a visa to travel to the republic of Santo Domingo. We recommend making several copies of your passport, in case the original is lost. Both public and private hospital facilities are of a good standard; however, we recommend traveling with international travel insurance.
