Due to its location and geographic conformation, it is a true surfing paradise with its OFF-SHORE winds; Desert Spots; and perfect Beach Breaks.

The large lakes that stretch out on the slopes of the many volcanoes (some of which are also active and can be visited), such as Lake Cocibolca, facilitate the passage of wind from the Atlantic that arrives as an off-shore breeze on the e waves of the ‘Pacific Ocean, drawing the waves into perfect shape!

Nicaragua is historically the richest country in Central America , in terms of wildlife biodiversity and wealth of raw materials and minerals (from coffee, meat, tobacco and sugarcane – world famous Flor de Caña rum) .

This proposal of Surf Camp with surf school and accommodation in Popoyo, Nicaragua, is aimed at all those who want to learn this wonderful sport or who want to improve their technique, from absolute beginner to intermediate levels, we have the proposal giuista for you!

We offer standard packages with breakfast and 5 Surfing lessons included per week, but if you’re really into surfing, you have the option of requesting our “Full Immersion” packages that include breakfast, lunch, and two Surfing sessions per day with 3 boat rides.

How to Get There:

Nicaragua is easily accessible from several Italian cities such as Milan and Rome, with international flights. In approx. 8 hours flight time you can land at Managua International Airport (MGA),in Nicaragua, about 2.5 hours from the camp by car.

Health Care and Documents:

Italian citizens do not need a special visa to travel to Nicaragua. It is recommended that you make several copies of your passport, in case the original is lost. Both public and private hospital facilities are of a good standard, we still recommend traveling with international travel insurance.
