The beaches of Oyambre, Cantabria, are very exposed to swells and oriented differently, ensuring waves all year round, even in summer! If we have no waves here, there will be no waves at any beach in northern Spain!
From our privileged camp location we can find the best waves depending on sea, wind and tide conditions. In 5 km of coastline, between Comillas and San Vincente de la Barquera, we can find beach breaks with different peaks, all oriented differently and very exposed to any swell direction. If there are no waves here, there are no waves at any beach in northern Spain. Normally, crowding in the water is limited and you can always find a peak to surf with a few friends.
