The Surf in Playground

Playground is an area of the Mentawai famous for having incredible wave diversity and some of the highest quality in the world.

Playground Area is a set of Islands in the Mentawai Archipelago, renowned for waves of incredible quality.

Due to the location of the various islands there is a wide exposure to swells from 240 SW to 165 SE, making both the frequency of swells generating quality waves high and giving the ability to move according to the size of the swell.

There is always a protected and more exposed spot based on swell and wind.

Except for the best-known waves, there are still a number of secret or semi-secret ones that guarantee a controlled crowded condition and the highest quality, but we will not list them on any website!
