Lanzarote is often compared to Hawaii because of the incredible quality of the surf and its many waves for all levels. Any time of year is good for surfing on the island: more experienced surfers tend to favor the winter months, especially between September and March, which are the ones that receive the biggest swells, while in summer the waves tend to be smaller, but still fun.
In any case, perfect waves can be found in Lanzarote for surfers of all levels-every day of the year, there is always a spot that works well depending on swell, tide, and wind.
