Explore the reef breaks around the Banyak Islands with local boat access and guidance from the Diamond Island team. Bay of Plenty is approximately five minutes from the resort by boat, making it easy to plan sessions around the swell, wind and tide. Unlimited boat access to local surf breaks is included in the standard accommodation package, subject to suitable conditions.
This experience is best suited to intermediate and experienced surfers who are comfortable in the ocean and have reef-surf experience. The team helps identify suitable local options each day; session timing and duration remain flexible. Bring your own boards and surf essentials, or enquire in advance about separately charged board hire. Longer trips to outer-island breaks, including Treasures, are available at additional cost.
