Learn to surf in Fuerteventura with Surf Camp, a certified surf school founded in Corralejo in 2010. Every day the instructors choose the best spot for your level according to swell, wind and tide – from the sandy beach of El Cotillo, ideal for your first waves, to the reefs and points of the North Shore for intermediate and advanced surfers – and take you there with the school van.
Lessons last about 3.5–4 hours including transfers, in small groups, and cover ocean safety, warm-up, paddling, reading waves, take-off, riding the face and first turns. All equipment is included: soft-top surfboard, wetsuit and leash. Instructors speak English, Spanish, French and German. With over 100 boards in the rental quiver you can keep surfing in your free time, too.
