Roque Nublo is a rock formation in central Gran Canaria at 1813 m alteza. It means Clouded Rock and in the past was a place of worship for the aborigines.
An hour-long trek through the marked and easy-going trail will take you directly to the monolith. The views are incredible on a clear day. To the side you can see the Rana, a smaller rock that resembles a frog at some angles. From here on non-cloudy days you can see Teide, of Tenerife, the highest mountain in all of Spain!
