Sri Lanka’s southwest coast is exposed to constant swells during the period from October to April, in which the wind almost always blows off-shore.

The Indian Ocean gives quality waves in this stretch of coastline, both beach break and reef break, including the best known Mirissa, Hikkaduwa and Midigama, but also many secret spots known only to a few local surfers.

The beauty of this destination is that there are waves in the same area that are perfect for intermediate/experts, but also for learning, in crystal clear water, tropical temperature and safe conditions.
