Our guides not only know perfectly the surf conditions of this region in the northern Mentawai area , they will also follow you as a trainer giving you the advice you need to improve your position and surfing on the wall.
Most waves are located within a 20-minute boat ride, but the closest is Hideways Left, less than 5 minutes from the resort, while the farthest is Bugerworld, easy and deep right: waves for all levels, fun waves or the Indonesian “classic barrell”.
The resort’s common areas have: restaurant, bar,l ounges, TV room, shop,office, functional and yoga room, gymnasium, game room, surfboard storage, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry.
To get to Playground one must take an international flight over Jakarta , and then take a domestic Jakarta Padang flight. We book a great hotel where we can recover from the trip and then leave the next day 6:00am
We will pick you up, the Fast Ferry departs from Padang Port 7am, stopping in Sikabaulan 11:30am and arriving in Siberut soon after.
A private speed boat from our resort picks you up around 2:00 pm. Surf in the afternoon!
Speed boat to Siberut 11:30 am, fast Ferry 3:00 pm, arrival in Padang 6:30 am, transfer Hotel in Padang, next day transfer to airport.
